Seit der Gründung im Jahre 1978 arbeitete der Betrieb im Bereich der Präzisionsstahlrohre für Tieflochbohrer, Reibahlen, Aufbohrwerkzeuge und Sonderwerkzeuge mit innerem Kühlkanal. 

Der Grundstein des Betriebs wurde in einer Keller- bzw Garagenwerkstatt von Jörg und Helga Staiger gelegt, von dort aus expandierte der Betrieb in einen ständig wachsenden und sich ändernden Markt. 

1984 musste die kleine Werkstatt weichen und ein neueres, moderneres Industriegebäude wurde bezogen. Weitere Vergrößerungen folgten in den Jahren 1990, '97 und '99 sodass der Betrieb heute über  ca. 1200 m² Arbeitsfläche verfügt.

Die Mitarbeiterzahl stieg ebenfalls in den Jahren von anfänglich 2 auf heute 30 Mitarbeiter.

Bis heute liefert "Staiger Tiefbohrschäfte" qualitativ hochwertige Metallverarbeitung rund um Präzisionsstahlrohre.

Since the foundation in1978, we are a steadily expanding company in a constantly growing and changing market. We concentrate on the manufacture of shafts (tool supports) for deep hole drills, reamers, bore open tools and special tools with inner cooling channel.

A lot has changed since our beginnings the late 70ies - Jörg and Helga Staiger started the business in their garage and cellar - in 1984 we moved into our shop equipped with the latest industrial manufacturing machinery.

In 1990 we enlarged our manufacturing premises by approx 500 m², in 1997 a new storehouse with 150 m² was built and also in 1999 a further building was built. All in all we will dispose of a production surface of 1200 m².

Since 1993 we are also into manufracturing tube parts and soldered tube part construction groups according to drawings. 

During the last 20 years the number of persons employed has grown from 2 to now 30.

Till this day Staiger Tiefbohrschäfte is common for high quality gun drill tubes.
